Finished L4 class. What next?

The first Online Geeta class started on 23rd June 2020. Since then, lakhs of learners have joined Geeta Pariwar for learning Geeta online. Most of them have already successfully completed their L4 batch and are enjoying the rich benefits of learning Geeta from an authentic and standardized source.

One thought that emerges in almost every learner's mind, is that - "What next?". They have finished their learning, and they might be practising at their home in their free time. But the main source of motivation - Being in a vibrant learners' Group, and the proximity of their beloved teacher is missing. Group activities are necessary for new learners to keep them motivated continuously, and that motivation is lost as soon as they exit their group. Keeping their WhatsApp groups intact forever is also not a viable solution. So are there any other options for those Sadhaks, who have finished their L4 batch, but would like to be part of the Geeta Pariwar in future also?

These type of questions pop up again and again in many weekly vivechan satras. Fortunately, for all of us, Geeta Pariwar already has several options for those who want to remain permanently attached with it. Following is a brief summary of such options.

Start from L1 batch again (Or L2, L3, L4)

This is one of the best and most viable options for majority of learners. You can join L1 batch again, or you can start from L2, L3 or L4 as per your liking and comfort level. This will induce new enthusiasm in your daily Geeta practising sessions, and will also help you improve your oral skills.

For a twist, you may opt to join a batch in different language.

And then, you can just keep on repeating this process every year.

Join as a Geeta Sevi

Geeta Pariwar is a volunteer supported organization. It does not have any paid workers or fixed work timings. So you can utilize your skills and available time to serve as a Sevi in one of the Sevi groups in Geeta Pariwar.

Some most common areas where you can utilize you skills are - Technical Assistants, Software Programmers, Graphic designers, Group Coordinator, Core Trainer and

Creative Writers. Even if you think that you do not have enough skills or time to join any of these departments, You can still join as a pracharak in Geeta Pariwar.

Practice at home

This is not an option. This is necessary for anybody who has learned entire Geeta in his or her L1-L4 batches. It is expected that you recite at least one adhyay per day if you want to reap the benefits of Geeta. The more, the better. You also may plan to recite entire Geeta per week (Means 3 Adhyayas daily), or Monthly as per your comfort level.

But even if one adhyay is not possible daily due to some reason, start reciting next 5 shlokas per day, and then go on increasing the number of shlokas per day.

Practice at home with your Family

Form your own personal group at home - of your own family members. Then fix a convenient time for all, and start reciting Geeta together. Start with one adhyay, or 5 shlokas as mentioned above. There is nothing like a group of common minded people doing some religious activity together.

This practice will soon change the entire atmosphere of your home, remove all negative influences, attract the positive energy and also influence the young minds in a healthy, positive way.

Form groups in your building or residential colony

If you start with family, this step may come automatically, as your neighbours and others will soon get interested in it. You may start forming local residents' groups to recite Geeta in early Mornings, or late evenings. Encourage them to join online classes also. Experience shows that such activities soon get traction and expand in the course of time, if done persistently.

Join other courses like Ram Raksha

Time and Again, Geeta Pariwar announce extra online learning sessions for various Stotras like Ram Raksha Stotra and Vishnu Sahasranama Stotra. Do take advantage of those sessions too and encourage your family members and relatives. Normally these courses are of short duration, so you can join them when you have free time, especially after completing L4.

In addition to above-mentioned activities, Geeta Pariwar announces many other online and offline activities that you can join. You may contact your group admins, GCs or BCs for more information on this. Additionally, all L4 participants are automatically added to special Geeta Sadhaka WhatsApp groups upon completion of their L4 training. These groups are read-only, means only Admins can post messages in them. These groups are permanent, and they keep you abreast with the latest news and activities of Geeta Pariwar.

So, now you know what options are available to you after finishing your L4 batch. Choose any or all of them, and start your spiritual journey on the path shown by Shri Krishna.
