अगस्त स्तर–2 (L-2) – 19वाँ बैच
Opening ceremony of the 19th batch; August L2 was another feather added in Geeta Pariwar's journey of “Har Ghar Geeta, Har Kar Geeta”.
Dr. Ashu ji Goyal (Director, LearnGeeta) Congratulated the sadhaks on the successful completion of Level 1 and moving ahead in the journey of competing All the four levels "the CHAR DHAM YATRA". The 36 years long journey of Geeta Pariwar; under the blissful guidance of Param Shraddheya Swamiji was restated by him.
He then explained how reciting these shlokas with accurate pronunciation have multiple benefits. He then assured the Sadhaks of the wonderful change they will experience in the coming months after starting the L2.
Ashu Bhaiya Further, with an analogy of pre-Primary and Primary, explained how scientifically the whole Program has ben designed. He also mentioned about the memorization exams which start from the Level 2. Memorizing is a step towards immersing once sole in Geeta Gyan Ganga, he stressed.
Ashu Bhaiya then Requested Respected Dr. Sanjay Malpani ji (National President ,Geeta Pariwar) to address the gathering and share his thoughts. Respected Sanjay ji, after extending his warm welcome to all, talked about the CHAR DHAM Yatra and its Similarity with the FOUR LEVEL Course structure, he explained these with the four Main Points :
- 1. Both are ways of offering Salutations to the Lord himself.
- 2. Just like the char dham Yatra, Bhagvadgeeta transforms lives, the Bagvad Yatra purifies the soul.
- 3. He gave a thoughtful paradigm of Geeta ji as " Mann ka Beauty Parlour”
- 4. While returning from Char Dham Yatra, Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri & Yamunotri, we all, amidst the constantly changing weather, changing landscapes, go thru a life transforming experience , similarly, Gita Ji's Char Dham Yatra (Four Levels), brings about thos changes in our SOUL.
He further described Geeta as mind's beauty parlour. Each one goes to the parlour for a different purpose, some for hair treatments, some for facial, and so on.
Elaborating on his Analogy of " Gita ji Mann Ka Beauty parlour" he explained how Gita ji helps at two different levels 1. Doshapanayan 2.Gunadhaan.
- 1. Doshapanayan, when explained, is removal of old offerings like Flowers, Chandan tilak , haldi, old naivedya etc. Doshapanayan is also similar to Beauty parlour, where they cut the old hair, nails, dead cells, etc.
- 2. Gunadhaan is simply, offering new flowers, cleaning the idol, applying new Chandan tilak, puting new set of clothes etc
He further explained how Geeta does both Doshapanayan & Gunadhaan & how it is more relatable specially after starting the 16th Chapter in 2nd Level. Geeta acts as a remover of asuri gunas & awakening the satva guna.
In Geeta, The Supreme has described all the 3 gunas. Hence, Geeta acts as a remover of Asuri gunas & awakening the sattva guna.
What exactly is Doshapanayan? It's the removal of Dirt from our mind. dirt is in the form of Shadripu (Kaam, Krodh, lobh, moha, mada, & matsa) viz Desire, Anger,Greed, Attachment, Ego, and Jealousy, Geeta ji helps cleaning our mind from these and thus contribute to Doshapanayan.
Our body is like a Vehicle, Asserted Sanjay ji, he said our buddhi is the steering, body is the accelerator & Mind is the braking system. Failure of the Braking system can lead to fatal accidents, Our mind works like the braking System. Geeta Ji enables to know how our own mind's braking system works.
Taking another example, of Arjuna seeing Brilliant flames, from Jagadguru's mouth, Arjuna further sees, Drona, Bhishma, Karna, Duryodhana, like kites, attached to the flames, reduced to ash. Lord Krishna further says, all these warriors, have been slandered; just aim and shoot the arrows and be part of the victory.
Further, Giving insights on the 11th chapter of Geeta, Respected Sanjay ji advised all to become nirvair, ask your self
- 1. Can I be a good listener, listen with calmness?
- 2. Can I keep a hands distance from anger?
- 3. Can I change my Reactive Behaviour?
- 4. Can I discard discrimination ( manah bhed)?
Then Sanjay ji addressed an Important aspect of How to keep sadness (dukh) away? He said, Geeta teaches us to keep the sadness at bay and to always have a pleasant mind that brings a smile throughout. He also said Geeta ji teaches us how to retrace one's
steps from the three doors of Kama, Krodh and moha? How to bring about equilibrium in one's state of mind, attitude, and behaviour?
He further said Geeta is definitely our Dharma Shastra but learning Geeta makes us realize that till date how we are misguided by the definitions of Dharma. Dharma in Geetaji is defined by the Supreme as one's duty…towards self, family, society, Nation… He also emphasised the fact that Geeta is Just not a religious book but it is a Spiritual guide to enhance our life.
He humbly requested the e sadhaks not to miss even a single class of any chapter. Geeta takes the seeker nearer to himself by enriching his mind and attitude. He concluded by congratulating and blessing the sadhaks for their journey forward in Learngeeta.
