Class Monitoring
Online Geeta classes (OGC) are conducted with high standards. The success of OGC lies in the synchronous working of its 35+teams together!! The best part is that a volunteer can contribute more than one team as per his/her capacity. Here, we will have an insight into working of a backend team – the Monitoring team.
The monitoring team volunteers are mute observers of interaction between sadhaks and faculty on zoom and whatsapp.
Why is monitoring needed??
- The number of classes are increasing exponentially at each level of OGC. It is critical to maintain the quality of classes with the increased number of sessions.
- Each month thousands of volunteers join as faculty members. Any training needs for these faculty should be identified on a regular basis.
- Introspection and continuous improvement are key to quality services.
- Divine task of connecting sadhaks with Shrimad BhagwadGeeta should have no shortcomings.
The functioning of monitoring team is elaborated below:
- The monitors observe the ongoing batches across all four levels of OGC
- Classes are attended by monitors just like participants.
- Best practices followed by Trainers, Technical assistants and Group Coordinators are noted.
- Any discrepancy from the pattern laid down by OGC is noted and reported to the respective admin teams.
- The observations from monitoring team form the inputs for training departments of all faculty members.
Monitoring has proved to be a good learning platform for monitors too as they get to learn a lot by watching classes of their co-volunteers.
As a part of monitoring team, we are blessed to see the interaction of dedicated volunteers and devoted sadhaks. Watching them reminds me of the saying- यत् भावो तत् भवति... The services are given and taken with such devotion – that explains the graceful global expansion of the LearnGeeta program.
The Selection@Monitoring…
Each team at OGC carefully selects dedicated sadhaks as their faculty members. Similar procedure is followed in the monitoring team too. Faculty members fulfiling the following criteria can offer sewa as monitoring faculty.
- Completed more than four months as Trainer, Technical assistant ot Group coordinator faculty at OGC in any level.
- Utmost regards for Geeta Pariwar procedures- In their service as Trainer, Technical Assistants or Group co-ordinators, they should have followed all rules of conducting Geeta classes.
- Volunteers should have keen observation skills.
- Capacity to identify areas of improvement with a progressive, positive and pleasant vision.
With expansion in number of classes at all levels, a growth of monitoring team is also inevitable.
The monitoring team will continue to strive for the betterment of Online Geeta Classes. It will continue to work closely with all other teams for qualitative enhancement of classes. May the glory of Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta reach millions in most graceful way.
