Geeta Pariwar Celebrates Swami Govind Dev Giri ji Maharaj's 74th Birthday with Shatkoti Hanuman Chalisa Pledge

The occasion was graced by the presence of Yogarshi Swami Ramdev Maharaj, who blessed the event with his presence.

The celebration was a grand affair with sadhaks from 75 countries lighting diyas to commemorate the occasion. It was also an auspicious Shattila Ekadashi diwas. The highlight of the event was the pledge to recite 100 crore Hanuman Chalisa in the next 11 months.

The event started with a welcome note by Shri. Sanjay Malpani ji, followed by an initial Prarthana by Kavita Mandhane Didi from Beed district. It was followed by speeches by Shri. Sanjay Bhaiya ji and Shri Ashu Bhaiya ji.

Shri Sanjay Bhaiya Ji spoke about the tireless efforts of nearly 4500 volunteer of LearnGeeta who had been working round the clock in all countries. The occasion was marked by the Deep-Prajjwalan by Sadhaks from 75 countries.

Shri Ashu Bhaiya Ji spoke about the significance of Geeta Pariwar and how it had grown from a small organization to a global movement.

The celebration then continued with the participants from Geeta Pariwar, Pune, performing an aarti of Swami Govind Dev Giriji Maharaj. The women sadhikas, all dressed in pink sarees, and the men sadhaks from Pune, joined in and made it a memorable experience.

Swami Govind Dev Giriji Maharaj shared his divine words, starting with shloka from Ramraksha, and explaining the importance of Geeta for personal development and progress of the nation. He also spoke about the significance of Shattila Ekadashi and urged everyone to work together as a nation and never break away from each other. He emphasized that our country possesses tremendous strength and resilience, distinguishing itself as a formidable force that cannot be easily defeated. Swamiji spoke about the importance of Shattila Ekadashi and the usefulness of the Geeta for personal development and the progress of the nation. He also mentioned the huge work being done at Ayodhya and Mathura.

Swami Shri. Ramdev Ji Maharaj, the chief guest of the occasion, then spoke about his long-standing relationship with Swami Govind Dev Giriji Maharaj and how he learned a lot about Mahabharata, Geeta, and Ramayana from him. He also praised Swamiji's contribution to the spiritual and cultural heritage of India.

The highlight of the event was when Swami Govind Dev Giriji Maharaj requested Swami Ramdev Ji to lead the pledge to recite 100 crore Hanuman Chalisa in the next 11 months, which was then repeated by all the participants of Geeta Pariwar, Patanjali Pariwar, and Sanatani Sadhaks in India and abroad.

The celebration ended with a mesmerizing performance by school children who danced to Shri Shankaracharya's stotra - ततः किं ततः किं ततः किं ततः किम्. The audience was left spellbound by the performance.
